Thinking of purchasing their first home in Wellington? Here's a free, informal and fun seminar for Chalklers by AW founder Tim Stokes, Gareth Humphreys and Bev Roche. This will be a 60-90 minute session, with plenty of time for questions and general chat.

The financial perspective - the approval process, structure of loans, how to maximise your repayments etc The legal perspective - the sale and purchase agreement, what are your legal rights and obligations when buying property type of class

Tim Stokes is a self-employed Registered Property Valuer and Wellingtonian by birth. Tim has been involved in the Wellington property industry since 1989. Tim specialises in helping first home buyers and those buyers who are new to Wellington City.

Gareth Humphreys is a Lending Manager for Westpac Bank. Gareth has plenty of experience helping home buyers structure their home lending and borrowing needs

Bev Roche is a partner at the law firm Tripe Matthews Feist. Bev has been a partner since 1999 and has over 20 years legal experience principally in the areas of property, commercial and trust/estate law.



our cancelation policy

If you RSVP for a class and fail to show up, you will get a "no show". Three no shows means you will be removed from chalkle. You may request to rejoin after six months.

If you cancel your RSVP:

- less than 7 days = restricted from this class for three months.

- after 7pm night before = class restriction, and a no show will be recorded.
