Inline skating is balance in motion so we will provide drills on and off skates to improve your balance to help you MOVE, STOP & TURN. NOTE: We will start in our shoes so please wear exercise shoes and carry your skates and gear to the lesson.

Inline Skates and Protective Equipment (helmet, wrist guards, elbow pads & knee pads) are available to use during our Group Lessons for FREE. If you will need to borrow skates, please let us know your shoe size in advance. If you own your own bike helmet, we recommend that you bring it.

- Fitness Inline Training (FIT) Practice
The mission of the Skater’s Quest Fitness Inline Training (FIT) Program is to equip inline skating enthusiasts with specific skills and exercises to meet their health and fitness goals whether it be to cross the finish line after participating in a skating event, lose weight, get in shape or simply improve inline skating skills.
The FIT Program has been developed for you to compete in the half marathon at the annual Skate of the Union in June or the Skate DC Marathon in October.
Practices are every Sunday (event participation is not required):
2023 Spring FIT: April 30 - June 18 - Training for the Half Marathon of Skate of the Union on June 25th2023 Fall FIT: August August 6 - September 24 - Training for the Half or the Full Marathon of the Skate DC Marathon on September 30th.
