Hi all -- Just wanted to make sure that you know about this event!

3rd Annual IIG Awards

The Independent Investigations Group (IIG), the premier paranormal investigations team on the West Coast, will present their 3rd Annual IIG Awards recognizing the promotion of science in popular media. The IIG will also present awards to actress Amanda Peet for her pro-vaccine work, and to career paranormal investigator Joe Nickell. Los Angeles. "This coming together of celebrities and skepticism is an awards event with some real substance."

Presenters at the ceremony will include comedians Kathleen Madigan, Dana Gould, Paul Provenza (The Aristocrats?), Frank Conniff (Mystery Science Theater 3000) and others to be announced.

Also on hand will be representatives of the winning movies and shows, VIP guests, and Friends of the Center for Inquiry.
