Oscar Ceballos will present on tradition, superstition, and religion in Latino communities: how ancient and modern beliefs shape the Latino and Mexican-American thinking in the 21st century, An overview of human sacrifice, the heritage of the conquest, the Latino vote and the "end of the world."

Mr. Ceballos earned a BA in Psychology and a BA in Religious Studies in 2007 and a Master's in Social Work in 2009 from California State University Bakersfield. He presented at the Second Annual Undergraduate Philosophy & Religious Studies Conference an essay entitled “Pharaoh and Judas Iscariot: A Rethinking of God’s Helpers in Fulfilling God’s Plans for Humanity.” Mr. Ceballos is an active member of Bakersfield Area Skeptics Society.
