We're going back to one of our best spots - the ravine! This is one of New York's treasures - if you've never been there, you won't believe it's in Manhattan!
We'll meet at the entrance, at 103rd st and Central Park West, and walk to our sketching spots together. Try not to be late because it will be hard to find us later!
Any problems on the day of the event, I can be reached at 646-831-9816.
What makes our Meetups different from other art groups and classes? There's no instruction, but we like to share our work, and talk and discuss. Share tips and learn from people in a casual environment where all levels of artists are welcome!
We sketch for a bit and then share our drawings, and then sketch again, etc. Feel free to bring any media you like to work with - pens, pencil, watercolor, pastel, small sketchbook or large paper, iPad, whatever suits you. We hand out nametags so everyone can meet one another! We take photos to share on the site later. Bring your camera! The event will last three hours. This Meetup is FREE and everyone at all skill levels is welcome! In case of rain, I will probably try rescheduling the event for the next day, Sunday.
Looking forward to sketching with you!
