What this is

You already know the basics on Sketch; now you want to get into more advanced stuff, right? Well, let's learn together! We’ll do it in person, with a small group (12 max), one-on-one. The old-fashioned way.

We'll go over some advanced techniques like using symbols and libraries. We'll quickly create a style guide, a simple library, and a prototype for a mobile app.

Who is it for

This is a workshop for people who have been using Sketch and feel like they know all the basics and want to move to the next step. Designers who want to learn symbol best practices, using libraries, plugins, developer hand-off, and other cool stuff.

IMPORTANT: For this workshop is better if you already know the basics.

What this is NOT

This is not a User Experience workshop, we focus on learning Sketch App and other tools that complement it. This is a technical crash course where we start from the basic tools and we go through some advanced features that will allow you to start thinking in design systems using Sketch (like using nested symbols), but this won't teach you “design thinking”. But I believe that learning the tools empowers designers to start thinking about the bigger picture :)

Why?

I started this group to share how to use cool screen-design tools. I want to give a new take on the old way of teaching; one on one, in a small but efficient workshop—packing the most important stuff in a few hours. I want you to see tools as an extension of yourself, something that empowers you, not something you're struggling with. Let's learn together!

Looking forward to creating awesome stuff with you!
