This is a ski trip for those who want to get in some mid Season time on the slopes. We'll stay in Breckenridge, giving us the option of day trips to Vail, Keystone or A-Basin.
When making airline reservations it is of utmost importance that you try to arrive in Denver by noon time OR EARLIER. Your departure flight back home should be scheduled for noon time OR LATER. We want to avoid a situation where everyone else might be inconvenienced due to a late arrival or an early departure.
Remember, Bags Fly Free on Southwest Airlines. That's important for those of us schlepping our own gear out there.
The cost of lodging comes to $265pp. Based on past trips, the 6 nights lodging, airfare (approx. $350 RT) and rental vehicle should total around $600 each if booked early. For those that have already purchased the Epic Local Pass, your per day lift costs go down the more days you use your Pass.
Well be reserving 2 full size 4WD/4Dr.HEMI Dodge Ram pickup trucks to get us around the snowy roads of Summit County. The cost comes out to $82pp including the fuel.
There will be an additional trip opportunity in March for anyone who wants to maximize their purchase in choosing their Lift Pass. Email me with any questions and I'll be happy to clarify whatever you need to know.
We have our ski house! Located ON Peak 7 at Breckenridge. It features a Hot Tub, pool table, fireplace, an outdoor fire pit on the deck, and an on call shuttle service that will pick us up at our front door and bring us right to the lifts.
I have arranged for discounted ski rental equipment at Main Street Sports in Breckenridge. If reservations are made prior to 1/25/14 you will enjoy $7 off per day all adult ski packages. You will receive an additional $2 off per day when you put on your reservation that you are affiliated with the SWFL Skiing Snowboarding Club, Attention: Richard Meyer. This means that an Advanced Super Sidecut Pkg. that ordinarily would cost $20 per day drops down to $11 per day.
