We still have 1 bedroom open as well as openings for a couple of singles
Announcing our Spring Fling Ski Trip to Summit County Colorado for 2013. Tuesday, March 19th through Tuesday March 26th.
A bunch of us already have purchased the Epic Local Pass, which grants us ski privileges at Keystone, Breck, Vail, Beaver Creek and A-Basin in Colorado. We'll plan to hit as many as we can while were out there. As always ...it'll be the most fun you can have in the snow.
After quite a bit of initial searching for lodging that would accommodate our group I was becoming somewhat discouraged. But then, the ski house that we used last year for our Spring Trip was again made available to us after personally contacting the owners. I found that slope side properties were outrageously priced for what is considered one of the prime Spring Break ski weeks. The cost should run each of us just under $50 per night with two per room.
The property is located at 355 Timberlane Circle, Breckenridge. It is a beautiful, free standing, 3700 sq. ft. 4 bedroom, 3 ½ bath ski house, within 1 mile of downtown Breckenridge. This home is on the east side of town tucked into a wooded neighborhood. Elegantly finished with hardwood floors, berber carpet, granite counter tops and black slate floors, large wrap around deck with a gas grill, a two car garage, wine cooler, wood burning fireplace, a second gas fireplace, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi throughout, Sony HD 52 inch LCD, 5.1 surround sound, HD premium cable channels with free pay per view, a wet bar with mini fridge, and to top it all off ...an 8 person Hot Tub!
Are you with me so far?

Thankfully this is a private owner, instead of some management company that adds on taxes, resort fees, cleaning fees and booking fees. The total cost for the week is $2750. I will make the reservation contract available for price confirmation when I receive it. The individual cost per private bedroom can be further reduced by taking in some additional singles that might be satisfied with alternative sleeping arrangements, such as the futon, air mattresses or sleep sofa. From what else I saw available, I believe that the cost vs benefit of this place makes sense for all of us.
The cost breakdown would be as follows:
Total cost for the ski house $2750 for the week / 7 nights
Total cost divided by the 4 bedrooms = $688 per bedroom / $98 per night
2 people per bedroom = $344 per person / $49 per night
Additional singles would be accommodated at 1/2 the private bedroom rate which would come to $344 for the week / $50 per night
The specific bedrooms will be reserved on a first payed for, first choice basis. There are two 3rd floor bedrooms, both with private baths, and two 1st floor bedrooms which share a bathroom.
Currently, there is one remaining 1st floor bedroom with a queen bed available.
1st Floor Bedroom
I will need to collect an additional refundable damage deposit of $50pp. The damage deposit will be a separate mailed check which will be held until the property has cleared final inspection after our departure. If we are found liable for any damage to the property, the cost will be absorbed corporately. So everyone should take care not to allow damage. Smoking is not permitted inside the house. There are outside decks if you wish to smoke.
Payment can be arranged by mailing a check to:
