Team,

Last night’s Mingle Captains call was exactly what I hoped for: sharp minds, honest conversation, and real momentum from all corners of the country. Then Michael doubled down on it this morning on his show and basically gave the whole thing an energy boost on live air.
So here’s where I’m going with this.

First, quick housekeeping: you may have seen 12/11 pop up as a placeholder. That is not a formalized date. I used it to get past platform filters and move the conversation forward. Nothing is locked in yet. That’s what this message is for.

I’m now gauging interest in an impromptu, low-key get-together sometime before December. Nothing formal or overly dramatic, simply good people, real conversation, and zero tolerance for boring.

Looking a little further out, my intention is to anchor a monthly Mingle beginning in 2026. The working home base is the Mob Museum, with smaller satellite meetups mixed in as seems right. And as Michael said this morning: political, personal, cultural, curious, uncomfortable if necessary — everything stays on the table.

Before I lock anything down, I want your input:

• What day(s) of the week actually work for you?
• Casual hang, structured discussion, speakers, rotating format?
• Any interest in “splinter” gatherings like hikes, service projects, or philanthropic efforts (Three Square, Habitat, etc.)?
• Wildcard: anything you’d definitely show up for?

If it matters to you, reply. If it doesn’t, no pressure because silence counts as a vote too.

Once I identify a core group, I’ll spin up a separate group app for coordination, scheduling, and future event drops. Stay tuned for that.

This is how communities get built, not by waiting, but by showing up.

All the best to you and your loved ones this holiday season!
Ray J
