Parkrun is a free weekly 5k Timed Run. It is run by volunteers. Beginning on 9 March there will be a Parkrun in Marlay Park (the Parkrun in Malahide also continues so now you have two to choose from).
The run starts at 9:30, so we will meet at the start line around 9:15. The run starts behind Marlay house facing onto the concert field (see the map). If you miss the group we can meet at the finish line. If you haven't met me before, I'm 5'5" and usually wearing a blue tech T-Shirt and black cap (on runs...not generally :-). After the run we'll meet and grab a cup of coffee.
In order to get a time for the run you must register with Parkrun at http://www.parkrun.ie/marlay (if you've already registered for any other parkruns such as Malahide you're all set...you only need to register once). After you register, you will print out a unique barcode and bring it with you. This is so your time can be tracked at the end of the run.
If you forget to register or bring the barcode, no worries, you can still run. You just won't get an official time on the Parkrun website.
The route for the Parkrun can be found here:
Also Marlay Park Parkrun has a facebook page which is a great source of information:
