How long have you been climbing?

I first started climbing in the 70's in Germany. For the fun of it. We did not have modern gear back then we free solo climbed in hiking boots, sometime with a rope around our waist, we tied rope harnesses for rappelling down on military nylon twist ropes. I started back into climbing in 2000...

Which gear can you bring? Rope? Quickdraws? TR slings?

I have a rack for trad climbing and a rack for sport climbing and 1/2 dozen ropes, beaners, slings, extra harnesses, shoes and other climbing gear.

Which gyms do you have memberships at? Which city do you live in?

I rarely visit gyms I prefer real rock for climbing, but I have a climbing wall at my house I can work out on...

How much experience do you have belaying on top rope? Lead? With which devices?

For top rope, Lead and Solo Climbing I use a Girgri or Cinch if I am climbing I will insit on an auto locker, I also know how to use tubes and other devices if need be. I am proficient with all devices.

How hard can you climb on top rope? Onsight/flash? Red point? Boulder?

I climb mostly 5.9 - 5.10b Highest Lead 5.11a Highest attempted lead 5.11c Now that I am well over a half century old I prefer top-roping with groups for the social enjoyment of it. I wish I had more time to get out climbing and camping.

Introduction

I encourage new climbers and I put safety first.
