What we’re about

We invite you to join us FREE for networking conversations via zoom with social entrepreneurs, "changemakers", professionals, investors, community builders, business owners, small housing providers, community leaders, GW alumni, Foggy Bottom/West End neighbors, Asian Americans, US-China People's Friendship and other members of the Friendship Archway Network. We meet (free) online via zoom.us. About 20 to 50 participants come together on 3rd Sundays at 1pm via zoom.us.
EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!
This is an opportunity to get to know each other better and to explore the possibility of win-win-win scenarios for working together harmoniously to achieve extraordinary results. These community events provide opportunities to make new contacts each month, develop community allies and connect with others with similar interests. Express what you are enthusiastic about to the co-organizers and follow-up after the face-to-face interactions at these events.
WHEN: 1 PM TO 2:30 PM on the third Sundays of each month, same place, same time each month. (happy hour after 2:30pm). Free on Zoom.us with meeting ID. Click the online link to receive meeting ID.
ADMISSION: It is free to participate on 3rd Sundays online at zoom.us; any voluntary donations are greatly appreciated, thanks!  Mail check payable to A.B.C., PO Box 57250, Wash. DC 20037-0250.

We appreciate the outstanding volunteer Allies Team of Allies Building Community Inc. (ABC) and members of AlliesDC community builders who produce this community event each month. We also appreciate for their efforts and contributions to help make this possible in the DC area.
These 3rd Sunday monthly events are opportunities for people in the greater Washington DC area to make new contacts and develop new friendships. They are also a way to develop new friendships and trust by enjoying stimulating conversations and by working together on community projects to achieve shared aspirations. There will be a round of self-introductions to the group at 1pm. After 2:30pm, feel free to stay for more one-on-one question/answer exchanges.
This is a wonderful time for social entrepreneurs and "changemakers": interest rates are low, people have time and are motivated to invest in themselves, build new and mutually beneficial relationships, start new social venture projects together or build their businesses. Many investors regularly attend our monthly meetings. They are looking for suitable people to collaborate with or invest in. These 3rd Sunday community events are enjoyable ways to get to know each other better each month.
See you on 3rd Sundays at 1pm. Nonprofit volunteers have been organizing these each month since 1997. The events are being held at the same time and place each month for your convenience. Save the 3rd Sunday of each month for more joy, friendship and prosperity!
Please invite your new contacts to meet you at this community event on 3rd Sundays noon. It is a good way to followup, develop community support or "citizen base", connect with new prospective clients and align with mutually supportive friends and allies for personal, economic and community advancement! For more background on the nonprofit collaborative visit: http://www.archway2.org We appreciate everybody's contributions and volunteer efforts to continue these networking events in Downtown, Washington D.C. $5 optional donation goes to charity (501c3). Thank you for your support! This event is open to the public.
NOTE: We are looking for web, mobile, technology and social entrepreneurs to collaborate on social entrepreneurial and infrastructure projects for the public good. We also wish to acknowledge the fabulous technology platform and support assistance from Meetup.com headquarters team! If you have some time to invest in yourself and your community, ask the co-organizers about rare and extraordinary opportunities available for a limited time near GWU (George Washington University)/West End.
Please come and team up with other "changemakers" and social entrepreneurs looking for revenue sharing partners! It will be fun and stimulating! This is the same leadership team who co-developed the Friendship Archway monument (the photo you see for this group) at 7th and H Street NW, DC, next to the Chinatown exit of Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro Station. They have also pioneered many other successful social entrepreneurial projects. We look forward to see you on 3rd Sundays at 1pm. Volunteers show up by 12:40pm to help setup. Thank you for your ongoing support for the nonprofit community service fund to support investments in your Self and in your community for a better future for all!
