What we're about

Public Group

We at the Social Tech Group meet every month to network, share food and drink and talk about tech and new media. We usually meet in central Reading each month and occassionally organise trips and talks.
So whether you are old or young, entrepreneur or occassional user, use technology in your work environment or at home, come along for friendly discussions and a chance to network with like-minded people.

Some of you have been asking me about getting in to Bitcoin and alternative currencies on the Blockchain. I am planning to talk at Reading Geek Night at the Walkabout on 10th April 2018 on the subject, so join me then. I use Coinbase and Binance for all my purchases and trades. GDax is also a good trading platform – just beware of people you don’t trust and use my referral links for us both to benefit.

Hope to see you soon,
