We have a 1-year project position currently available at our research lab at UW-Madison.

The new hire will work with a team of software developers, ecologists, and information managers to improve usability of a streaming sensor data management middleware called Open Source Data Turbine (OSDT). Specifically, this will involve implementing a robust information management system for streaming data from multiple buoys and meteorological stations, with OSDT as an integral component. The goal of this information system is to provide high quality data to researchers and the general public, and curate and archive the data for future applications according to accepted standards.
