Evening Walk-Hudson Valley Rail Trail

Let's meet at the Highland Rotary Pavillion and take a walk on the Hudson Valley Rail Trail 10 minutes West of the Walkway on Hudson. There's plenty of free parking along with picnic tables and bathrooms at the pavillion. This section of the trail is shaded and crosses over Black Creek, (popular for kayaking ) Farther on, the trail runs along a rock cut, where wildflowers bloom in the crevices in the spring.
Near the trail’s midpoint, two magnificent arched bridges carry New Paltz Roads over the corridor. Please plan to arrive by 6. If everyone is not there at that time, we will wait until 6:10pm and begin walking.
