A secret group means that your membership is kept private from the rest of your Facebook friends. SMWSLT posts will come to your news feed like all the rest but no one else can see them but you.

I am wanting to use our Facebook group more actively now. For example, we will post photo albums and comments from events, some event announcements (many women don't see their meetup announcements), last minute invitations, exciting news, updates and more. I envision keeping it related to the LGBTQ community and our meetup group but want to include more personal touches with you all posting as well. It will be an additional opportunity to create community and make friends.
