RED SHIRT PRIDE Day at DISNEYLAND - SMWSLT

Details

Let’s meet at Disneyland in California on June 3, 2023 for RED SHIRT PRIDE DAY AROUND THE WORLD to help spread the message of Diversity, Equality, Inclusion, Safe Expression and Kindness around the world. The KindRED Pride Foundation was inspired by a 30 year-long tradition which began when members of the LGBTQ community donned red shirts and visited Disney World Orlando on every first Saturday in June.*

We thought it would be fun to create our own gathering here in California to stand in solidarity with the East Coast folx during PRIDE MONTH. So put on your RED SHIRT and meet us at the ticket gates at 7:30am for entry. The park attractions open at 8am. Don’t feel like getting up early? There will be more opportunities to get together with the group throughout the day.

HERE'S THE SCHEDULE!
FYI: Parking Lots open 7a, Gates open at 7:30, Access to attractions 8am
*7:45am – 8 am Group Photo at the Flag Pole in the Plaza (look for the red shirts!) (we may hold until 8:15)
*11:00 am lunch at Rancho Del Zocalo in Frontierland
*12:30 pm at Sleeping Beauty Castle for our 2nd group shot with our photographer
*5:00 pm Final Group Photo at the Castle
*5:15 pm We’ll begin our trek to Bear Country for dinner
*5:30 pm Dinner at the Hungry Bear Restaurant

Your RSVP will help us keep track of who is coming, however you will be responsible for the following:
1. Obtain your own Disneyland Park TICKET
https://disneyland.disney.go.com/experience-updates/park-reservations/
2. Make your Disneyland Park RESERVATION for June 3rd
(You may not enter without it.)
3. Arrange for your own transportation (carpooling and ride-sharing suggested, and I bet some of us will be up for it, so please ask about that in the comments.)
4. PARKING is $30 at Disneyland Lots which open at 7am.
Check website for lot locations.
5. WEAR A RED SHIRT! While at Disneyland please feel free to stay together or do your own thing and meet at the designated times and locations in the above itinerary. A map is provided, below, to help you find us.

Thanks to Jenn English for this wonderful idea. Jenn & Carm are co-hosting.

Jenn’s phone number is 650-346-3598 which you can use to text her during the event if you arrive between meeting times.
