What equipment do you own?

Nikon D300 Nikkor[masked]mm 1:[masked]G, Sigma[masked]:28D, Nikon[masked] SB 800 Nikon Flash

What type of photography do you enjoy most (nature, street-life, studio, landscape, etc)?

Broad interests. I love light effects on buildings and 3-D surfaces, storytelling in a photograph, nature, human interest, sports ... My problem is narrowing things down so that I can direct my interests into a business.

How long have you been doing photography? All levels are welcome.

My first camera was a Canon AE-I in the 70's when I went to Moore College of Art, I now have a Nikon D300.

What should we do at meetups? (free forum disscusion, contests, review and critique our own work, organize photo trips, etc.)? Please provide as much feedback as you can.

I would like to build my photo professionalism so that I would feel confident that I have the skills and equipment to meet a client's expecatations. Maybe having different types of shoots where we could exchange perspectives and technical know how. All of the above examples sound good. I would like to also learn more about the benefits of Facebook for business.

What type of computer software and computer do you use?

I use a 24" Mac OS X, I use Aperture, Photoshop, Illustrator, Nik plug in and just got Lightroom to compare to Aperture.

I shoot my husband's football and baseball games and make DVDs with music, "Ken Burns" technique and give them to players. I taught art, Photoshop... in a SJ high school, retired 2 years ago I recently started a web site
