'Trout and About' Stockbridge Craft Fair/Fiesta

Details
Event:
'Trout and About' Craft Festival Sunday 3 August 2025 and walk.
"Every year, on the first Sunday of August, it's this festival.
Stockbridge High Street is blocked off with stalls and alive with thousands of tourists, and local traders showcasing the very best of local food, produce and crafts. It's free, run by volunteers for local causes and businesses."
Agenda:
Meet at 11.00 for 11.30 at the front of the White Hart Inn, Stockbridge SO206HF, on the A30 / A3057 roundabout. You will need to come from the White Hart side of town, as the high street will be blocked off and it will be extremely busy. Park free by the road or in the field marked with free parking and free bus into town. You could always drop someone off outside the White Hart and go back to park if they can't walk too far.
11.30 Walk through town to the pathway on the right side of The Test pub SO206HF, to walk around the water meadows. About a 2-hour walk, 4 miles, including sitting in the shade for a drink (bring water, a towel or a rug), a river paddle and the town walk. Meadows are flat and should be dry, so light walking boots/trainers will be ok. Dogs welcome. Back into town for lunch at Meadow cafe, 9 High Street SO206EX (light bites to full meal from £5.50). No reservation required. The art gallery above is called Mylo. Afterwards, you can check out Stockbridge town, the houses, bridges, the river, shops, stalls, especially if you've never been before. This means you can stay as long as you want if you don't want to rush home, or meet up again at the White Hart at 16.00 before going home.
