About Micello

Think of Micello as Google maps for indoors. We’re building a massive collection of indoor maps; places like shopping malls, airports, museums, business campuses, college campuses, casinos etc, and making it accessible via APIs for third parties. We already have world’s largest collection of indoor maps, and we’re making it even bigger. The company is located in Sunnyvale, is generating revenue, and growing rapidly on all fronts.

We are looking for an extraordinary Client API Architect. You will be an integral part of our core team and design the framework for the next generation of our maps.

This is a hands on position involving implementation in addition to architecture and product management. Desired programming/architecture experience in at least one of the major mobile platforms (iPhone iOS, Android, BlackBerry/RIM, Windows Mobile 7). Experience with JavaScript is desired, and prior work with map platforms is a big plus. You will have ownership of the full life cycle of development.

What you’ll get from us:

1) Get the true startup experience from launch all the way to building the next great mapping company.
2) Real say in the future of the company – you’ll be a valued member of the team whose ideas about how to grow a world class company will be vital to our success.
3) High energy work environment with workable hours.

Ready to start? Here’s what we’re looking for:

BS, or MS in Computer Science or a related engineering field
Must be hands-on development
Minimum 5-8 years of programming experience, with a track record of delivering software products from conception to launch.
Excellent written, verbal communication skills.
