Tell everyone a little about yourself.

I have been working in the IT industry for 15 years; initially in systems and support and, for the last 10 years, in software development. I am an expert in providing applicable solutions to technical problems using extensive experience from the key areas of software development; requirements analysis, code, testing and commercial focus. My primary focus is with Microsoft technologies, but I also has experience with JavaScript and Ruby. I am an Agile evangelist and am dedicated to finding the best products and the best people to solve client requirements. I am a certified SCRUM Master and Umbraco developer.

Are you currently running a tech company or looking to form one? Tell us about that!

The Ministry of Technology is your one stop shop for all your IT needs. Whether you need an experienced freelance software developer, technical IT consultancy or a complete team to outsource a project to, the Ministry of Technology will guide you through the process. We bring advanced software and agile methodologies to your business, as we firmly believe these techniques deliver a better result for our clients.

Which tech companies have you been involved with in the past?

In previous lives I have worked for the likes of Orange, Nokia and S-Cool. Since going independent I have provided services for EMO (a digital agency with an emphasis on local), SoGlos (an online magazine for gloucestershire) and SiansPlan (a meal planning tool).

I have recently taken the plunge to begin working for myself, providing technical services and resourcing to my clients after 15 years working in the IT industry.
