Tell everyone a little about yourself.

Married with 2 boys (one an apprentice at Mercedes in Bristol) the other at University. We build our own house and are looking for our next project, but also enjoy holiday home exchanging all over the world.

Are you currently running a tech company or looking to form one? Tell us about that!

I'm working on a brand new tech start ups at present. Which is likely to be either a privately funded or crowd funded. It's called "Village Broadband" which seeks to bring 100meg broadband to villages who are not even on BT's radar and who otherwise might suffer an outflux of micro-businesses who could no longer trade from Broadband black spots. It's a mixture of social enterprise, community service and hopefully a commercially viable/profitable business too.

Which tech companies have you been involved with in the past?

Another partly funded project using CrowdCube known as - also a Bristol based company is a project I working with which again seeks to break the mould and help thousand of people across the UK & Europe. I'm involved in helping a number of tech and non-tech business from an eMarketing perspective and my major area of expertise encompasses Social Media, Social Technology and Reputation Management On-line

As MD of WSI-eMarketing I got involved an a number of start-ups, having a couple of my own (like and work as advisor, mentor or consultant to some others!

What Rob T. is saying about this Meetup Group

Well organised - I'll definitely go again and recommend anyone seeking to launch a Tech start up, or wanting to mentor one or looking to invest - a great mix of people and ideas.
