Hello, everyone,

Please read at least as far as the fifth line.

In this message:
-Meeting dates and venues.
-Maraya Koxahn is exhibiting her work at Resolution Gallery.
-Meetings with reply limits.

There are five meetings in the near future. The first will take place on
Sunday, January 2nd, at 1:00pm at Yamato Dessert Cafe, 1322 Centre St NE. The second will take place on

Sunday, January 23rd, at 1:00pm, at Yamato Dessert Cafe, 1322 Centre St NE.

These are 2, 7, 9, 11, and 23 days from now.

Please go now, and RSVP for these.

One of our members, Maraya Koxahn, is exhibiting her work as a part of a collective exhibit at Resolution Art Gallery,[masked] St NW (Kensington) http://www.resolutionartgallery.com/.

The exhibit will run till January 8th.

I have been to the exhibit, and her work is both hauntingly beatiful and humourous. Please supprt her by going out and viewing the exhibition.

Let us make this a new year's RESOLUTION.

Some of our events are at locations that have limited seating, especially Yamato and Kawa. At our event on Tuesday, December 7th, at Kawa Espresso Bar, I set a reply limit of 19. In the end there were at least 23 of us, and a couple of people did not show up who replied "YES", so at least 6 of us showed up who did not reply.

Note that I showed up an hour early to hold on to hold on to 19 seats because I know it's very difficult to find seating at Kawa.

I was surprised that more than one person made exactly the same comment about this phenomenon... "I could not reply because the site said that the event was full so I just came".

Do we not get the concept of events with reply limits?

Okay, you can just show up, but from now on, I am not going to scramble to find you seats. You will have to fend for yourself, or lean against the wall.

Also, if you reply "YES", and you can't come, please be considerate, and change your reply to "NO" as soon as possible.

I am looking forward to seeing us at the meetings!

?Que tengan todos ustedes un bonito a?o 2011 y todo lo que quiera a?n siquiera hasta un hombre limpiador sin camisa!
