This free 90-minute gathering, led by Marie Boozer (pictured), is for people who wish to learn and practice deep listening, or "empathy," as we see it in Compassionate Communication: A quality of presence that enables another person to feel deeply heard and seen.
People of all experience levels are welcome to this gathering, ranging from beginners to experienced practitioners. We will have a brief presentation, a demonstration, and then give everyone a chance to practice giving and/or receiving empathy.
You will also have a chance to get to know other people with shared interests, build community, and practice the skills with other participants.
