Pre-Thanksgiving at the Silver Diner

Wanna relax, eat, and chill with your fellow autists? Wanna get away from holiday obligations?

Then come to the Silver Diner! Conveniently located at 1250 Half Street SE in Washington, DC across from Nationals Park, the Silver Diner is blocks away from the Navy Yard Metro station on the Green Line.

HOW TO GET THERE

Take the Green Line to Navy Yard. The Nats Ballpark exit is closed, so you'll have to get out at the New Jersey side. Walk three blocks to Half Street, then walk three blocks to the Silver Diner.

Parking in DC is expensive and impossible to find, so driving is not recommended. You'll probably see National Guard troops, but they won't bother you as long as you leave them alone.

The Silver Diner can accommodate everyone from omnivore to vegetarian to vegan to gluten-free to people with food allergies. If you can't find us or are running late, please call or text me at 202-802-3238.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

If it is raining heavily or sleeting or snowing, I'm rescheduling the event.
I will take a COVID test the day of the event and post my results. If I am feeling well and test negative, I will be there.

I will post Metro service interruptions the week of the event.
