Arrive at 615pm ride will depart at 630pm
Please join us in co-ordination with the World Wide - National Ride of Silence on Wednesday May 15th.
Please during the ride, it is a ride of Silence.
This ride will take place instead of the normal Wednesday night ride.
This is a road ride with Cuyahoga Falls police escorting and maintaining intersections and following us.
Each year many cyclists are killed or injured on our highways. We will especially honor Matt Billings and Jim Lambert who were both killed in an automobile collision Sept. 2015.
The Ride of Silence has taken place across the globe since 2003.
Akron Bicycle Club will begin the ride in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park at Botzum parking lot, 2928 Riverview Road, Cuyahoga Falls.
Cyclist will gather at 6:30 pm and after some discussion, will leave promptly at 7pm for a 7-8 mile route. The ride is medium-fast paced and silent with no faster than 15 mph.
NOTE: All cyclists must wear a bike helmet, obey all traffic laws, and NO use of earbuds or cell phones while riding.
Headlights and tails lights required.
