Mysticism and Dreaming: with Sangoma John Lockley and Buddhist lucid dreaming teacher Charlie Morley
For eons across human history dreams have been the gateway towards higher consciousness and the divine realms. In Africa it is well known that certain sacred places in nature are doorways or portals into the spirit world. It is also understood that certain dreams are much more than mere dreams, but rather direct experience with the divine.
Using the real life stories of African healers who have walked into the spirit world only to return to our world as gifted and blessed medicine people, John will give participants some insight into how they can recognise these kinds of ‘dreams’ or mystical experiences.
Charlie will explore the role of dreams and transpersonal dream work in the mystical traditions of both Tibetan Buddhism and contemporary Jungian based dream work. Exploring the use of dreams as a portal for mystical practice and experience, Charlie will use examples of life changing lucid dreams and OBE’s sourced from Tibetan Buddhist and the Toltec sources.
Mind-downloads of teachings, contact with seemingly autonomous beings and psychic phenomena will all be explored with humour and insight at this world premiere workshop!
