What we're about
Our well established "turn up and play" 7 a side sessions have been running since 2015 every Sunday afternoon. This offers a fun and competitive option, to engage in football whilst making new friends, keeping active and playing the game that we all love. Our majority audience, are offline, and have decided to open the activity to our Meetup audience.
Sports Key is a Birmingham based not for profit Community Interest Company (CIC) which exists to improve the wellbeing, cohesion, and life opportunities of those at the heart of our community.

Our football sessions are reputable for creating a friendly and welcoming environment, which is a culture we have instilled within our organisation. Whether you are new to the sport, area, city or just want to re-engage back into footy, this is the right session for you! Our session is open to those at any level. We have had beginners to ex premiership and championship players attend. We just ask that respect is obtained throughout.
On attendance, please report to the Astroturf, where you'll be greeted by one of our friendly staff members.
Please be advised - If the RSVP attendance list is low, the session will still be on as our main audience has been established offline.
Remember to bring appropriate clothing example: sports wear, correct footwear for Astroturf playing surface and no/covered jewellery.
The format of the session is dependant on attendance numbers on the day however, generally we tend to have 3 teams of 7 a side, and have a winner stays on type tournament with 4 min games.
Before attending first session, please complete the registration form, which will save time completing at the session.
Sessions are £3 and card payments are accepted!
