Cerler, for snow connaisseurs is allegedly the best ski resort in the area. High altitude (2.600 m), lack of crowds on the lifts and a very nicely designed ski domain with lots of trees :)There are beginners areas, expert runs, lots of off piste, a well groomes and equipped snow park... it's Sporty People's favourite resort in Spain!
Evenia Monte Alba hotel has two main perks. One, that is very nice and laid back, with cozy commen areas. The other one, that it's just steps away from the lifts and the Remascaro snow bar that's jut at the bottom of the slopes and where absolutely everyone will be having a drink and a dance once the ski day os over.
On Saturday you can go for a walk in the town, if you feel like something different. It's picturesque and charming, an old town, as opposed to a purpose built ski resort, with all stone houses and the beautiful views of the Benasque valley. It's an old pyrenean genuine town from the XVII centry.
Remáscaro, at the bottom of the slopes, and just meters away from the hotel, is a live DJ outdoor and indoor bar where everyone gathers after a day of skiing for a well deserved beer ... or ten. Just pure bliss and a lot less crowded that you would expect, just the perfect size, the perfect crowd and the perfect moment
THE SKI DOMAIN
Cerler is the highest ski resort in the Spanish Pyrenees and it's surrounded by peaks of more than 3.000 m, in the heart of the Benasque Valley.
Countless international ski awards, including the World Travel Awards, make Cerler one of the top 3 resorts on Spain, by those on the loop. It's varied, innovative, not crowded, VERY beautiful both on the slopes and in town, with a great customer service and modern lifts, .
You will ski in runs between trees, explore an immense backcountry territory, go crazy on the snowpark or learn your first gliding moves on the beginners area. Theres enough to keep you busy for two days, and you still would need another weekend to actually feel satisfied!
Max altitude 2.630 m
Endless backcountry slopes
Snowpark and boarder cross
