SSQA Monthly meeting

Topic: "My Most Interesting Bugs (And Then Yours)"

Doug Hoffman will present stories of a few of the most interesting bugs he has encountered in his more than 40 years of bug hunting. Then you are invited to describe some of your most interesting experiences in software quality.

Doug is a founding member and current Chair of SSQA. He has a long list of degrees, awards, certifications, publications, presentations, and other stuff related to software quality. He is passionate about quality, regularly speaks at conferences, publishes, and has presented more than once at SSQA. Most relevant to this meeting is his storehouse of stories and lessons from his experiences.

SSQA meets monthly on the second Tuesday of the month. Topics vary and cover all aspects of software quality assurance. Meetings are free and open to the public.

Doug, do you have a slide for the presentation? I couldn't make the meeting, but love to learn about your stories and experience. Thanks!

All I used was a flipchart, and nearly none of that. I was winging it. Since I lived the experiences my only notes are two or three words for 3 of the 4 stories I told.

I think most of the value came from stories from the audience after I finished.
