Jacqueline Gold, Ann Summers

CEO of the Gold Group International companies: Ann Summers and Knickerbox, Jacqueline is renowned for managing a company run by and in support of women. She is the 16th richest woman in Britain.

When she first joined Ann Summers, she didn't like the atmosphere at Ann Summers. Jacqueline shifted focus on women and allowing them to browse and shop for lingerie in a safe, female friendly environment.

She developed the legendary Ann Summers Party Plan, with thousands of women as party organisers, holding over 4,000 parties every week.

This event is part of our global initiative with Google for Entrepreneurs, supporting female entrepreneurship, called #40Forward (https://www.google.com/entrepreneurs/initiatives/40-forward.html).

After being made Chief Executive at Ann Summers, she transformed it into a multi-million pound business with a sales force today of over 7,00 woman as party organisers and 136 high street stores in the UK.

Jacqueline is keen to support startups and runs a weekly Twitter campaign called #WOW to aid and support female startups.
