Mock-up Madness - Hands On (Academy Zone - Night Shift Edition)

Hands on mockup design and discussion with Adobe Photoshop. Mock-ups, definitely - wire frames and prototypes are needed to support the conceptual, planning, presentation and other phases of a new mobile app or web app/site. UX/UI is everything these days to almost assure the success of an mobile app or website. If you want to convince and acquire developers, funding and other support, it's best to have one or all of these pieces in place.

This session is an introduction and hands-on approach to using tools such as Photoshop to experiment and design cutting edge mock-ups that can be re-purposed as elements for advanced wireframes and prototypes.

Bring your ideas and get started on them Thursday. Learn and discuss best practices for design. Use proven, common sense methodologies and apply them to your own mobile app mock-up.

Work through the night after the session has ended building your mock-up or continue the discussion.

This will be an ongoing series including regular events that have already been announced.

Join us, early, at 6:45pm for our regular meetup event to learn the basics of mobile app design and development including the anatomy, methodologies, process and tools available to implement.
