Living Wild

Experience Blue Springs & Snake Creek

Join us for a magnificent paddle up the Snake Creek, Florida's little wildlife paradise. Keep your toes and fingers in the boat folks as we quietly meander up this beautiful creek which is part of the St Johns River Watershed. Blue springs may be open for paddling ....pending how many manatees have arrived.

The distance will be about a five mile paddle.

Duration about 3 hours

We will be launching in the state park.
There is a $4.00 entrance fee into the park.

I made this early so we can beat the crowd. This place can get to be a bit crowded on the St Johns river on the weekend, however the boats can't go where we are going.

It takes 1 hour and 43 minutes to get there from St Augustine unless you're a speed demon. 83 miles one way

There is a Sonny's BBQ on the way home in Orange city that has an excellent salad bar if anyone is interested in lunch after the paddle.
