  • 3D Printing: Complexity is free

    Naked Hub

[Update] Dear all innovators, due to the time conflict with the speaker, we have to reschedule this event to 6th March. Hope we will see you one week later! --------------------------------------------------------- It's been several months since our last event and what we can say is "Welcome to 2017"! We hope you had an inspiring Christmas and that the Chinese New Year brings many adventures and experiences. 2017 is going to be a great year for our community. We have plenty of events, guest speakers and learning opportunities lined up throughout the year. Our aim is to grow this community and to help each and everyone of you get deeper into the digital health startup world. This month we have invited David Hartmann, CEO of Sendinaden, to speak about 3D-printing, digital manufacturing and the link to healthcare. David Hartmann's interest in 3D printing started around the time he watched his first iron man movie. Since then he's headed scenario studies on the future of 3D printing, written a science fiction novel that looks at 3D-printing's impact on our world and founded Sendinaden, a 3D-printing wearable smart devices startup. At Covestro (former Bayer MaterialScience) he headed Polycarbonate's global 3D-printing activities before recently being appointed global co-CEO of the Thermoplastics Composites business. 3D printing excites him because of its ability to set our imaginations free and extend the power of the individual.
