August Walk, Moonlight Walk in M.B. Johnson Park

Details
For this walk, we will be experiencing walking under a full moon in M.B. Johnson Park. We may also get to enjoy viewing some “falling stars” as part of the annual Perseid Meteor Shower.
We are particularly excited about this walk as requested by walking group members. 👏
So, we will gather before sunset and after the welcome and greetings, we will head to the paved trail to walk for about an hour. Then we’ll return to the shelter to roast marshmallows and have some more social time.
Newcomers and guests are always welcome!
Please bring a flashlight or wear a headlamp if you have them. (If you don’t have either one don’t stay home, though! Not everyone has to have a light source.)
Also, as always, please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated and wear a good pair of tennis shoes.
In the case of adverse weather conditions, an email will go out to everyone letting them know that the walk will be canceled for 8/9 and held on 8/16 instead.
See you there!
