We are here to offer visitors the basic skills they will need to reduce stress and stress-related disorders in their lives.
We live in a world where anxiety, depression, sleep deprivation and chronic pain are growing at alarming rates.
We know now through good science that these things can be greatly reduced through the practice of mindfulness, that is, paying attention, in a particular way, in this present moment and without judgment.
The practice takes work, but when that work is applied, great benefits can come of it.
We carefully screen applicants to make sure they are a good fit for a mindfulness practice. We then hold complimentary orientations to ensure they are up for the challenge.
We then hit the classroom for an eight-week workshop, teaching people all they need to know about mindfulness fundamentals.
We also have smaller workshops for people who want to hit the high points, such as mindful communication, mindful eating, mindful way through anxiety and mindful relationships.
We also have corporate offerings where we bring talks to corporate sites.
