Kicking off 2017 with expression trees & laser tag

.NET collaboration and Laser Tag? It's a natural.

It's time to get the Metro East .NET group rolling again! We're looking forward to reinvigorating this group and celebrating the .NET culture on this side of the Mississippi.

We're going to kick it off with a meetup on Thursday, January 19, at Edison’s in Edwardsville. Our own Dylan Ross will speak about expression trees, and we'll have plenty of time for open Q&A to get to know each other.

Then, did we mention the free food? Edison's will open a buffet just for us, and we'll continue the meetup as we chow down.

Afterward, we've got the Laser Tag arena reserved for an hour just for us. We'll burn off some of the calories from the buffet.

Our group is now anchored and supported by Care Otter, a medical, cloud-based API company located in Litchfield, Illinois. Care Otter is a fast-growing tech startup, with plans to engage and celebrate the growing developer community on this side of the Mississippi and beyond.

The meeting is in Edison's Power House A room, starting at 6:00. Dinner is served at 7:00 and Laser Tag starts at 8:00.

We can’t wait to grow this group and share our passion with the .NET community!

All, I wish I could be a part of this fun event! I'd like to participate in this relaunched group. However, this coming Saturday is SharePoint Saturday St. Louis, which I'll be presenting at and am helping organize. If you want to learn more about Office 365 or SharePoint on-premise, please join us for this FREE event. Mark Kashman, product manager of Delve, is flying in from Redmond for this event. You can register here if you're interested in attending this coming Saturday. http://www.spsevents.org/city/stlouis/stlouis2017

Unfortunately I can't make this one. Our annual company meeting is the same evening. Sounds great though. Have fun!

I would love to go, but the classes I teach during the Spring semester are on Wednesday and Thursday nights...of course they had to start on Wed. the 18th... :-(
