What about Elixir interests you the most?

The fact that the Erlang VM got a language that is very reminiscent of Ruby, which I code daily.

What do you hope to get out of this meetup?

An overall understanding what the language is for, what it's strengths and weaknesses are and possibly the incentive to learn it thoroughly.

Introduction

Ruby and Haskell hacker interested in what Elixir can do.
