What we're about
We are a creative writing group that meets in Collingswood, NJ, Sicklerville, NJ and Center City-Philadelphia, PA. Even if you have never written before, this is the group for you!
Message from our founder Kristin:
I started this group because it is hard to write by yourself at home. I lacked the motivation to start anything. But now I get to meet up with friends, write stories with the help of some fun prompts and then share my story with others at the end. Don't worry! Sharing is strictly optional! No critiquing is allowed in this group. Only positive comments and questions regarding the story are permitted. My goal is to get more people writing because then the world has more stories to read : )
Upcoming events (1)
Let's meet at the Bourse, at 5th and Market. We usually sit at one of the long tables, look for people with notebooks and laptops. (We're often across from the Rebel Tacos stand).
There's a coffee shop in the food hall and a few other vendors.
For the first hour, we can write, then share during the next hour. Work on a story from prompts or your own project. You're welcome to attend if you'd like to listen, too.
I'll be away and will have to miss this one, but will post some prompts before the meetup. Feel free to add your own or work on your own project!
