How do you choose your books?
I listen to other people. What are they reading? What do they recommend? I read recommendations in the Times, best seller lists, browse book stores. Then, I download samples on my kindle. If I like what I read, I download the entire book.
What kind of books are your favorite?
My tastes are very eclectic. Currently, my favorites are The Book Thief by Zusak, The Color of Water by McBride, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Barrows and Cutting for Stone by Verghese. I enjoyed reading all of the Girl with the Dragon Tatoo books, Patterson's women's murder mysteries and his Alex Cross series. Just read the Badge of Honor police series by W. E. B. Griffin. I enjoy historical fiction too like Follett's Fall of the Giants and Gabaldon's Highlander series.
