Beers and Board Games

This is an age 21+ event. Participants should bring any games they are interested in playing and I encourage using the message board to setup games and participants in advance. This meetup event is a great opportunity to meet the newest members of the Queen City Game Club as well as to introduce all members to new games. A selection of games will be available and feel free to bring your own favorites as well. Knowledge of the rules of a particular game is not required in advance to participate. It is assumed that the person bringing the game will need to spend some time teaching the rules to everyone else participating. The event will run approximately 3 hours.

I'm willing to do a big game of Werewolf towards the end of the evening, as our last pre-Halloween game.

As a reminder, please be considerate when setting up your games. If it's a 4-player game, try to take one of the 4-player tables, and save the 6-player tables for larger games. Also, games that accommodate more players are always a bonus :) Thanks! We'll see you tonight.

I've seen copies of Zpocalypse and Posthumous Z at previous game nights, and would be interested in getting in on them so as to add reviews and ratings to the Game section of my Zombie Movie Reviews web-site.

I am looking at picking up
Star Wars - Edge of the Empire Beginner Game
    http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Edge-Empire-Beginner/dp/1616615931/ref=pd_sbs_t_1
It is for up to 5 players and there are 2 add on characters, so we could have 7 players not counting me.
I want to see if there is any interest before I get it

It looks fun, John! But our club events are specifically for strategy board games. That said, we know a number of our members play RPGs, and we welcome you to use the Looking For Players forum to recruit some people for a game night! http://www.meetup.com...
