The Six(ish) Mile Walk at Starkey Park

This is the longer morning hike in conjunction with our Chapter’s Cinco de Mayo weekend event. You are welcome to sign up and walk with us whether or not you are a member of FTA or are attending the weekend event. Starkey Park is a large and mostly undeveloped park especially popular with hikers and bikers. We’ll start off at 8:30 when it’s a little cooler and enjoy going through as much shade as we can. Please get there by 8:15 so we can get signed in and ready to go. Most of our loop will be on wider sandy trails through the woods. We will end at the campground near the restrooms and the Corral by around 11:15. Please be prepared with the water and sun protection you need.
