Oak Ridge is a beautiful area and a favorite area of mine. We will experience dense old growth oak and cabbage palm canopy. Currently the trails are well mowed and all the Milton downfall has been cleared away. The area will flood when the rainy season begins. We just hiked here Sunday March 15. I want to go again while conditions are good.

Oak Ridge is a SWFWMD conservation tract and is maintained to a lower standard than the neighboring county parks. We may hike a bit off trail or on other lesser maintained areas with tall grasses and other vegetation.
