SHADY: Hike at Sanborn County park, 4.2mi/2.5 hour, moderate hike

Let's hike a loop trail that is steep enough to provide a good workout and incline amazing views to reward our efforts.

Trail's summary:

• Length: 4.2 mi, moderate loop,
• Elevation gain: 1282 ft,
• Mostly shady,
• Dogs are allowed on leash.

Please, bring:

• layered cloths,
• shoes appropriate for an unpaved trail,
• hat,
• water,
• sunscreen,
• sunglasses.

ATTN: This trail is a combination of a few trails, with some intersections, so if you think you may want to separate from the group/slow down at some point, make sure you get the park's map and get known (from the leader) how to proceed on your own, otherwise a wrong turn can lead to a different part of this large park.
