Party for Clean Water-Surfboard Give Away
Join us Saturday, September 22 as we celebrate the end of summer with a benefit to those that protect our waterways and a clean environment to enjoy the great outdoors and its water sources. Little Lady Grill Food-Truck will be onsite from noon-7pm Rhinohouse Surf & Snow gave us a surfboard with the orders to do something fun and choose a charity to benefit. We selected two charities. Potomac Riverkeeper Network and Surfrider Foundation - DC Chapter. Clean water is vital to breweries, and we need organizations like these to champion for clean, safe, usable water and access to it. Throughout the day, we will have many raffles with special prizes. The grand prize will be this sweet surfboard! Raffle tickets are $5 each or $20 for five, cash only at the Rocket Frog bar. The proceeds will get divided between the two organizations. You may purchase raffle tickets starting now during our normal tasting room hours. We are making a special beer for this day, our first Gose (name is TBD). Head brewer Russell Carpenter, PhD, has personally gone to the Atlantic and gathered a few gallons of water, and will harvest the salt from it to use in this special Gose. Additionally, we will have two custom syrups to represent each charity that can be added to the beer. A portion of the proceeds from the beer will also be donated. Each organization will also have an education table set up so you can learn about each one. Rhinohouse will also have a popup store so you can buy their swag. Items for raffel: -Custom Surfboard -Pair of original Dogfish Head barstools circa 1995 -2019 Launch Pad Membership from Rocket Frog
