This is a 3 mile walk in Bushy Park taking in some of the best features that the park has to offer.
We will begin our walk at The Pheasantry car park and head into the Woodland Gardens. Here we will follow stretches of the Longford river, visit three ponds, and a disused waterhouse. Many of the locations are very scenic and great for landscape photography. Exiting out into the park we will head North to the manicured Water Gardens with its man-made cascade. This hidden gem is another great location for landscape photography. Finally we will walk back through an open area of the park usually frequented by grazing deer.
Bushy Park contains plenty of wildlife. Deer are common, rabbits can often be seen, green parakeets are everywhere, and we might also see herons and a kingfisher if we're very lucky.
You might like to have a drink at the end of the walk at The Pheasantry Café.
