I will have to concur with Kyon regarding the Nim Chow. It had no favor whatsoever and the "sweet" peanut sauce was water and chopped peanuts. My combo platter was just OK. Unfortunately, it did fill me up to the point that desert wasn't an option. But the people and the little carrot creatures were fun. Looking forward to next month, need to cleanse my taste buds!

Thanks for feedback! I went there with a few girls for a drink, they didn't mess that up! Prices good too but 3 people ate and 2 were not pleased, sushi was not great and other dish not much flavor, perhaps if they ordered meals maybe they would have been good, but I probably won't go back, disappointed!

I have to agree with Linda on how the sushi was prepared. I've been to quite a few sushi restaurants with the group and I wasn't impressed with what I got either. I also was asked by someone in the group if we got what we ordered. The best part of the night was the company and desert, lol.

I thought it was good, I would go if I wanted to just get something to eat and wasn't looking for anything special. Two items I ordered were good and I was happy with them for what they were. The nime chow was awful. It was like somebody who had nime chow vaguely described to him/her told the person, who was to make them, how to make it. I got a wrapper with a single basil leaf and noodles. I made better ones myself by guessing the ingredients. The other sushi roll, I just happened not to like. Nothing wrong, except they forgot the sauce. But I doubt I would have liked it anyways. It wasn't the fish, just the combo of items. My +1 had some spicy General Tso chicken, I thought it was pretty good. I would definitely like to try the dim sum for lunch. I think this restaurant is probably stronger with their Chinese dishes.
How was this restaurant? Any feedback?
Sorry had to cancel and forgot to notify. Hope it was fun and looking forward to exploring sushi restaurants.

We've never been to Bon in Johnston, but I would consider that for a venue a few months down the road. We've liked Enn in Lincoln and have not been back since Feb 2011, so it's a good possibility.
Tokyo is likely for March 2013.
Haruki East in Providence is really no longer possible because they have no space to accommodate a group as large as ours. We were at Haruki in Cranston fairly recently in June 2012, so it may be a bit before we rotate back to it.
Quan's in North Attleboro is a possibility, but I am reluctant to take the group so far outside of Rhode Island for a number of reasons, including because there is no RIPTA access. We've only left the state once, in March 2007, and went to Attleboro. I would be open to trying it again if the group were receptive to it.
