What we’re about
외국인 친구들에겐 한국어를 배울 수 있는,한국인 친구를 사귈 수 있는 곳이 되고싶습니다.
한국 친구들에겐 영어를 직접 쓰면서 이야기 할 수 있고 외국인 친구들을 도울 수 있는 곳이 되고 싶습니다.
제가 아주 짧게 캐나다에 있으면서 친구들을 사귀고 싶지만 그 친구들에겐 나의 영어실력을 인내해주어야하고,저는 언젠가 내 나라로 돌아가야하며,일상생활에서 내가 도움을 줄 수 있는 일보다 받을 일이 많다고 생각하여 적극적으로 친구로서 다가가기가 힘들었습니다. 하지만 한국에 돌아와서는 서로서로 도움이 되고 친구가 되고 싶어서 이 그룹을 만들게 되었습니다:)
카페,맛집 같이 다니고 날씨좋은 날엔 피크닉도 하는 소박한 그룹이 목표입니다.
(인원이 되고 기회가 된다면 서로 서로 영어를 알려주고 한국어를 알려주는 자리도 만들고 싶습니다)
I want this group to be a place where foreign friends can learn Korean and make Korean friends.
And for Korean friends, I want it to be a place where they can use English in real conversations and help our foreign friends.
When I was in Canada for a short time, I wanted to make friends, but it wasn’t easy. They had to be patient with my English, and I knew I would eventually return to my country. In daily life, I felt like I received more help than I could give, so it was hard for me to approach people as a friend.
But after coming back to Korea, I wanted to create a space where we can all support each other and become friends. That’s why I decided to make this group :)
On nice days, I hope we can have picnics, visit cafés, and try good restaurants together. If we have enough members and opportunities, I’d also love to create sessions where we teach each other English and Korean.
