Program the NAO Robot using Java

NAO is a humanoid robot designed to be fully programmable. This talk will first introduce its basic software and hardware architecture, and then show how to develop applications using the Choregraphe GUI and the Java bindings.

Laurent Lec

Laurent first worked as a software engineer for VMware in Palo Alto, before going back to Aldebaran Robotics, a French robotics company where he used to be an intern. After designing and developing some core parts of the robot, he is now in charge of coordinating and releasing all software written at Aldebaran.

Do I need to bring an ID?

    February 18, 2014

    • Van R.

Since this is not an over-subscribed event, we probably won't be checking IDs. Generally speaking, it is a good idea to carry some form of identification with you regardless of our policies though. I highly recommend that you do. =)

We are a friendly team of seasoned Java/Play devs (see - recently we released an online trading platform of physical gold in pure Play, it was fun!) - if you are looking for an experienced developer(s) available at affordable rates just drop me a line at [masked] Cheers!

As long as they are accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for them, I don't see why not.

Little chance. Not opposed to having it broadcasted, but, nothing arranged at this point for this event. Sorry.
