Don't wear yourself out at WWDC this year! Thanks to Cynthia Maxwell, we'll be meeting at Slack on the following Monday and learning some of Slack's secrets for building cross-platform mobile apps.
Writing a mobile Slack client is _tricky_. We’ve done it from scratch a few times at Slack now, for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. This talk will cover some of the lessons we learned, and also introduce libslack: a native cross-platform library that provides asynchronous, type-safe, and smart access to a Slack team.
Our speaker will be Keith Adams, Chief Architect at Slack.
His previous work includes founding Facebook’s AI Research team, and the HipHop Virtual Machine PHP engine. He was an early engineer at VMware, and holds an ScB in Computer Science from Brown University.
We'll hope to see you there!
Oh yeah, here's Keith:
